Project Bike Tech is a two-year accredited program for high school juniors and seniors that utilizes lab classrooms supplied with tools, bikes and curriculum to foster life-long engagement with the bicycle. PBT teaches key academic concepts, enhances lives, creates career opportunities and inspires new generations to be passionate about bikes. This one-of-a-kind program introduces students to the 7.2 million job opportunities that exist in the outdoor industry – from basic bicycle mechanics to engineering – as well as aspects of running a retail business. PBT has graduated 4,000+ students since 2007 and provides over 2000 hours of combined classroom instruction annually.
